VEIL OF MIST est fond\u00e9 en octobre 2004 \u00e0 Reims par deux ex-musiciens de DERELICTION, Jean-Baptiste FRICHET (Basse, programmation) et Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric CARCELLE (Guitares),dans l’id\u00e9e de jouer un Metal \u00e0 chant f\u00e9minin sombre et progressif parsem\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments Black et atmosph\u00e9riques sans limitation dans la palette musicale employ\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ils sont rejoints par le batteur Gautier TREMLET avec qui ils travaillent pendant toute l’ann\u00e9e 2005, toujours \u00e0 la recherche d’une chanteuse. En juin de la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, ils recrutent la chanteuse Malou MANIENGUI.

Le 25 octobre 2006, le groupe sort sa premi\u00e8re d\u00e9mo \u00abIndustry of Guilt \u00bb.

En ao\u00fbt 2007, ils enregistrent 3 autres titres que l\u2019on peut retrouver sur le EP \u00ab Dangling Hopes \u00bb, qui sort d\u00e9but 2008.

A partir de cette p\u00e9riode, le groupe s\u2019efforce de se produire sur sc\u00e8ne aussi souvent que possible en France et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger, partageant la sc\u00e8ne avec des groupes tels que CHEENO, SEPTICFLESH, ANCESTRAL LEGACY, 0 X \u00ed S T et bien d\u2019autres. Mais la formation souffre aussi pendant quelques ann\u00e9es de nombreux changements de musiciens, ce qui ralentit consid\u00e9rablement ses divers projets.

2009 : Nad\u00e8ge ANTONINI devient la nouvelle voix du groupe.

2013 : Le groupe est rejoint par une nouvelle chanteuse, Amandine ROSSELLE (ex-SYMPHONIA)

2014 : Gautier TREMLET quitte le groupe et est remplac\u00e9 par Manuel LEROY derri\u00e8re les f\u00fbts. C\u00e9dric VASSAL (Guitares, ex-DENIED) rejoint le groupe. Le guitariste Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric CARCELLE est momentan\u00e9ment remplac\u00e9 par C\u00e9dric BALAVOINE avant de revenir au sein du groupe en 2015.

2016 : Par\u00e9 d\u2019une toute nouvelle formation et d\u2019une passion renouvel\u00e9e, VEIL OF MIST, d\u00e9sormais compos\u00e9 de Amandine ROSSELLE (Chant), C\u00e9dric VASSAL (Guitares), Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric CARCELLE (Guitares), Jean-Baptiste FRICHET (Basse & programmation) et Manuel LEROY (Batterie), sort son premier album: \u00ab Disenchantment \u00bb, sur le label allemand VALKYRIE RISING. Ce nouvel opus contient 10 titres (+ 1 bonus sur le CD Digipack) mix\u00e9s par Joey SIEDL (ARCHITECTS OF CHAOS, Paul DI ANNO) et masteris\u00e9s par Jarno H\u00c4NNINEN, au D-STUDIO de Klaukkala en Finlande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2018, le groupe participe \u00e0 un split EP (MCD et Digital) qu’il partage avec le groupe Norv\u00e9gien ANCESTRAL LEGACY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
